MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Lao Family Community of Stockton is to assist and empower families and individuals through advocacy, social support services, economic development, and learning opportunities. To achieve this objective, the board and staff are committed to:

• Providing effective advocacy services to families and individuals to empower them to advocate for themselves and actively engage and participate in community and society.

• Providing opportunities for families and individuals to learn, growth, develop, and become productive citizens and self-sufficient.

• Providing excellent social support services to families and individuals by promoting education, health, safety, economic success, cultural, and generational connections.

• Developing Lao Family Community of Stockton to become a resource center where families and individuals can get the information they need to make effective decisions.

VISION STATEMENT

The board and staff envision Lao Family Community of Stockton as strong and sustainable agency that effectively assists and empowers families and individuals become independent and productive citizens, to actively participate in community and society, and to effectively advocate for themselves.

CORE VALUES

The core values of Lao Family Community of Stockton are honesty, trust, integrity, respect, accountability, empathy, and hard work. These values are the guiding principles of LFCS. The Board of Directors and staff of the organization will practice these values when doing the work of the organization and serving our families, individuals, and community.
