Engaging undeserved families in advocacy and educational decision making at the state and local levels. Our program goals are:
- Improving educational achievement outcomes for Southeast Asian students by increasing their parent’s access to and involvement with their child’s schools
- Improving educational achievement outcomes for English-learning students by strengthening the ability and effectiveness of local English-Learner Advisory Committees (ELACs) to advocate on behalf of English learners
- Improving educational achievement outcomes for students by increasing the participating of community non-profits,cultural organizations and volunteers with local schools.
Coffee Hour
We would like to invite all parents to attend our Coffee Hour located at McNair High School every first Tuesday of the month from 1:00-2:00p.m. in the Conflict Mediation Room (behind the Cafeteria) to voice any comments,concerns,issues,or questions you may have. Coffee Hour is an open floor discussions. Your opinions matters to us. McNair High School’s staffs may be present to answer some questions and concerns. Please come and check us out.
